It's occurred to me that I'm kind of neglecting my blog on here, so seeing as I am first and foremost a music journalist, I've decided to introduce a monthly playlist of 20 songs I'm enjoying. We might be over halfway through July, but there's no time like the present so here you go.
We're kicking off with Fontaines D.C. in anticipation of their upcoming sophomore album, and they're followed by Linkin Park on what is the third anniversary of Chester Bennington's passing. I've enjoyed some new tracks from upcoming artists this month, like Abbie Ozard, beabadoobee and Sapphire Blues, as well as classics from DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, The Verve, Kate Bush and Two Door Cinema Club.
